Learn more about the Demat Account Services from TMB.

TMB is one of the accredited Depository Service Providers. We are accredited depository participants with the NSDL (National Depository Services Limited). Our charges are extremely nominal and service is quick. We offer three different types of demat accounts to suit your different volumes and frequency of activity in the account.

TMB Demat Scheme 800 - Schedule of Charges:

Transaction Charges (Market & Off Market)
for Sell	NSDL charges plus Rs.3/- per instruction (Rs.9/- at present).

for Sell	0.03% of Market value - subject to payment of NSDL charges per transaction ie Rs.6/- at present or the charges levied by NSDL which ever is higher.

Account Opening	Nil
Stamp Duty during Account Opening	At Actuals.
Demat	Rs. 2.00 per Certificate subject to minimum of Rs. 10.00 plus Rs. 50.00 Postage Charges.
Pledge Creation	0.02% of Market value with the minimum of Rs. 25.00 per transaction plus NSDL Charges Extra.
Pledge Creation Confirmation	0.02% of Market value with the minimum of Rs. 25.00 per transaction plus NSDL Charges Extra.
Pledge Closure	0.02% of Market value with a minimum of Rs. 20.00 per transaction.
Pledge Invocation	Rs. 20.00 per instruction.
Account Closing	Nil
Re-Mat	Rs. 15.00 plus Postal Charges Rs. 50.00 plus NSDL Charges Extra.

Sell (Market & Off Market)	Rs. 6.00 per Transaction (Nil for Commercial paper and Short Term debit instrument).
Rematerialisation	Rs. 10.00 per Certificate.
Pledge Creation / Confirmation	Rs. 25.00 per Certificate.

Conditions:

The value of shares and charges are calculated as per NSDL formula and rates.
There will be a charge of Rs.100/- for dishonour of any cheque or unsuccessful attempt to recover payment through direct debit or ECS. The depository services are liable for discontinuation if TMB is unable to recover charges from the customer, for any reason whatsoever. In such cases, there will be a charge of Rs. 250/- for resumption of services and the services will be resumed after a minimum of three working days from the date of receipt of request at TMB Demat Service Office at Chennai.
Any service that is not indicated above will be charged separately as per the rates applicable from time to time.
TMB reserves the rights to revise the tariff structure from time to time, with a notice of 30 days.
If the Demat Account is closed during the year no pro-rata refund of annual service charges will be made.
The above mentioned charges are exclusive of service tax and any other charges levied by Government Bodies / Statutory authorities, etc from time to time.

SPEED-e and IDeAS for Demat account operation:

TMB gladly introduces one more facility called SPEED-e and IDeAS from 23.11.2006. This facility will facilitate our clients to submit delivery instructions (Debit instructions) and view their demat account maintained with us online.
