As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility and to celebrate our country's 61st independence day, we are launching a new term deposit product called as "TMB Freedom Deposit" with both LIFE as well as ACCIDENT insurance cover and lot of value added benefits for the welfare of our customers and user public. The life insurance is given by Life Insurance Corporation of India and accident insurance is given by United India Insurance Company Ltd. The New Deposit Offer opens on 14.08.2008 and closes on 14.10.2008.

Eligibility

Individual, Joint A/c Holders, HUF, Firm owned by Proprietor and Partners

Age

Above 18 years to below 58 years; For other age group -> Life Insurance facility is not available.

Amount of Deposit

One time deposit of Rs. 25,000/- and in multiples of Rs. 5,000/-. Deposit will be held in the form of units of Rs. 5,000/- each.

Subsequent Deposits

New Deposit of Rs. 25,000/- and above to be opened in the existing Customer ID with new Freedom Deposit account number.

Mode of Deposit

FD as well as MKD.

Interest Payment Frequency

Monthly at discounted rate or Quarterly as per the request.

Period

12 months.

Rate of Interest

Public: 10.50% ; Senior Citizens: 10.75%
